Between tradition and grandiosity
History

Palazzo Favacchio-Patané is a grand and elegant bourgeois palace built in the late 19th century by Cavaliere Giacinto Favacchio after his marriage to Bartolomea Peralta. The Favacchio family, renowned breeders of Modican cattle and Ragusan donkeys, as well as purveyors of Persano horses for the Royal House, were also passionate about auto racing and friends of the Florios of Palermo.

They constructed this impressive neoclassical-style palace along the right bank of the Santa Maria la Nova stream in Via Aleardi, one of Scicli's most picturesque areas. Purchased, restored, and brought back to its original splendor by the Patané family, the palace preserves all the opulence of the Belle Époque in its grand ballrooms, now common areas for guests staying in its historic rooms—offering a hospitality experience that is a journey within a journey.

From the former cellars to the master bedroom adorned with three-dimensional stucco of birds in flight and flowers, everything will leave you breathless, making your stay in Scicli truly unique.
